|

According to official sources, the region received around 1000 mm of rainfall this year, which is comparatively less than the year erstwhile. The amount of rainfall recorded between Jun 1 and June 17 this year is only 603 mm, with maximum recorded at Igatpuri, followed by Trimbakeshwar, taking an average rain of 40.2 per cent, sources said adding that last year during the same period, the region received 117.4 per cent of rainfall.
